Getting there

Centrally located between the capital Berlin and the cities Halle and Leipzig, the region Luther | Bauhaus | Garden Kingdom disposes of a good access to public transportation.

Train

Wittenberg (ICE stop), Bitterfeld (ICE stop) and Köthen are well connected to the long-distance DB Bahn network (German Rail).
Besides, regional trains depart hourly from Dessau going to Leipzig, Halle / Saale or Berlin. Transferring to long-distance trains (ICE) is possible here.  
From Wittenberg it takes you 5 hours to get to Munich, about 2.5 hours to Hamburg and about 30 minutes to Berlin or Leipzig.

Bicycles are transported free of charge in any local trains within Saxony-Anhalt.

Plane

The international airports of Leipzig / Halle, Berlin-Tegel and Berlin-Schönefeld can be reached within an hour. All airports are served by public transportation.
For smaller aircraft, Dessau is providing the "Hugo Junkers airfield".

Car

Via the A9 motorway, the Luther | Bauhaus | Garden Kingdom region is linked to Berlin in northward direction and to Leipzig, Nuremberg and Munich in southward direction. From the westward direction Dessau is accessible via the A14 motorway (Magdeburg-Dresden).
National highways such as B2, B100, B107, B184, B185 and B187 cross the region.

Public transportation

In addition to a local train network, regional bus lines provide access to the region.
